Union Creek Family Session | Adventures

Awhile back, Severin wrote me and said she wanted to surprise her mom (seriously, how sweet is that...) with a family photoshoot. She stealthily checked out Pinterest to find ideas, and we put a date on the calendar for the shoot. We then sifted through idea after idea; everything open fields to Christmas trees, and then we landed on THIS. I instantly thought of  my favorite spot in Union Creek, where we discovered there was an abundance of snow. We trekked through the woods, explored through the Gorge, had a mini snowball fight, and laughed all day long. This family is native to Crescent City, and they are as beautiful on the inside as they are photogenic; they are close-knit, and truly love being together. What a fun memory they will have for years to come.I jokingly call my shoots “the Adventures with Allie Club”, because you never know what you are getting into! They were willing to make the drive and jump right in, and I’m so honored they trusted me with their photos. I had such a great time with this crew, and all the snowy, woodsy goodness made me want to curl up with a blanket and a cup of tea. These photos just scream ‘Christmas” and “family”.
