Meet Mackenzie | Senior 2016 | Oregon Portrait Photographer

Meet Mackenzie: a smart, pretty, and talented Southern Oregon senior who traipsed around the forest with me recently to capture her senior year. She’s just as lovely as you’d imagine when you see her big smile, and let me tell you, her laughter is just as lovely. After a whirlwind senior year, she is taking a gap year, where she says she is looking forward to a slower pace of life, and a few new adventures, adding that she is open to “Whatever God has for me”. She is passionate about American History, and laughingly disclosed that for a 5-6 year period, she loved Little House on the Prairie, and even had a log cabin playhouse of her very own! She notes that American History is still something she loves, and Mackenzie is part of a Civil War re-enactment group where she can put her interest to good use and have some fun.We found lots of pretty, lush greens in our adventuring, which made for the perfect backdrop for this smiling senior, and I loved the pop of color of her coral dress. We added in her beloved instruments for a few shots, and I was so glad we could celebrate and document her accomplishments. She is truly stunning, inside and out, and I cannot wait to see how God uses her in the year after graduation.
