You know when you meet some people and you just know they’ve been on a journey? You can tell that life has been molding them into kind, humble, and joyful people. You find that life has shaped their authenticity and their ability to connect on a much deeper level. That’s this family. Meet the Riesners: Ryan, Cheyenne, and their little nugget-of-awesome, Gracie.We traipsed about up at Union Creek, and found glorious light and gorgeous trees for their family session. Ryan and Cheyenne were married in 2007, and welcomed Gracie to their family through adoption in 2013. Cheyenne says, “Being married is like having a built-in best friend. We are typically homebodies, so we like to keep things simple. We have spent the last seven years working together on renovating our home, I just started a new career, and we are loving our sweet girl.” Gracie was literally the cutest, full of energy and tons of smiles. “Being Gracie’s mom is the best”, adds Cheyenne, "We just feel so lucky we were chosen to be her parents. It astounds us every single day. She is funny, sweet and independent, tough and resilient. We wonder aloud all the time how perfect a fit she is for us!"This gorgeous family is on a journey to add a fourth member to their family (so exciting!), so they wanted to update their family photos to document this time as a trio. I loved being the lucky one to capture this sweet season in the life of their family. Cheyenne and Ryan, y'all were made so perfectly to be her parents and you do it so well. Please keep a coaching class open for Kelly and I when we become parents someday.
