The Marriage Chronicles// Ashley and Kyle's Mountaintop Anniversary Session

This breathtaking anniversary session gave me all the feels! I'm so thankful to know these two, thanks to our Fire Department family, and I loved celebrating their five year anniversary with them on Mount Ashland. Although they are lovely on the outside, their beauty goes much deeper, and their relationship is so strong. I'm thrilled to introduce this couple today, and grateful they entrusted this occasion to me.

Ashley and Kyle celebrated five years this month, and they were eager to share what they loved about each other. "My favorite thing about Kyle is his readiness to always help in anyway he can. Whether it be me or anyone. He has a servant's heart, and it’s one of the first qualities I noticed about him. He’s so humble and never expects recognition", says Ashley, and Kyle adds that it's his wife's giving heart that he loves the most. The pair has a very loved fur baby (German shorthaired pointer named Ruger), and they enjoy sneaking in a date night when they can; their favorite way to spend the evening is grabbing their favorite food, and binge watching a show together. Ashley continues, "Kyle has a real love for Jesus, our families, and everyone he knows. He's always the first to offer help, and the last to quit...I'm always so proud of the way he handles situations with grace and patience, and strives to do his best." Although it hasn't always been easy, the pair said something that has really made their relationship better has been learning each other's love languages, and how the other person receives love. They have a shared love of travel and relaxing, and going to new places. 

I've truly enjoyed getting to know them, and I know the unique emotions that come with being married to a first responder. I am so proud of the hard work they are putting into their marriage, and the way they put the Lord first. Happy Anniversary, you two!
