Orcas Island Adventures, but Mostly Ice Cream | Travel

We took off on an exciting adventure recently, and of course, I took along my camera. Travel photography is one of my favorite things ever, and this was no exception! We went on an Orcas Island adventure with my husband's family, and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. We took off to the San Juan islands for two weeks (I know, it was a dream-come-true!), and along the way we searched for little gems of spontaneity and fun. We happened upon Orcas Island, and it fit the bill. If you've never been there, add it to your bucket list! Often called the "gem of the San Juan islands", Orcas Island offers nearly 57 miles of gorgeous hikes, bike trails, and curving, beautiful roads. You can also kayak, whale-watch, or take guided horseback tours. I could have stayed there all month long. All of us on the trip may have just a small sweet tooth and love for great food, decadent sweet, and COFFEE! We even found a spot that had all three...this amazing creamery. You can find out more about Clever Cow Creamery and it's delicious treats right here!Like I said, I adore travel photography. If you are planning a destination trip, I am available for travel bookings and would love to document your event. Until then, I will continue on my personal adventures as well, and post my photos on the blog, so follow along!2015-09-12_00032015-09-12_00022015-09-12_00072015-09-12_00012015-09-12_0009 2015-09-12_00082015-09-12_00102015-09-12_00062015-09-12_00052015-09-12_0004
