When I married my wonderful husband and became a Harrington, I gained some pretty great extended family. I feel really blessed to have gotten to know his cousins, and have nothing but deep love and gratefulness for them in my life. For this session, we traipsed a beach in Seattle with these precocious and adorable little boys. We got our hands dirty in the gritty sand, tossing driftwood into the water, and finding and picking up dead crabs (yuck!).I utilized lots of clean lines and negative space for these portraits, and I LOVE the way they turned out. Perfect, studio-type, matchy-matchy family portraits are a thing of the past, folks! Clean lines, real emotion and pictures that capture children as they are, in this moment, are the new now. Watching these boys play, run, and breathe the fresh air...that's what childhood is made of, and what I try to capture with all my photos.
