Our Little Getaway | Gold Beach Travel Photography

In February, my Valentine (my husband Kelly) and I decided to set aside our allowance (yeah, we give ourselves money each month to spend on strictly "wants") and go away for a night or two to celebrate February 14th! We went a little late, but it was such a gift to take a break from life, and sneak away to Gold Beach. We were so excited to spend time together and disconnect from the busy-ness. We scoured AirBnB high and low for places or rooms, but ended up not finding anything we thought might work. Thanks to our friend, we stumbled across the lovely Tututun Lodge in Gold Beach. They had plenty of room, and off we went!

We packed our bags, and drove through plenty of sunshine...but in true Oregon fashion, the clouds and fog rolled in when we arrived. But, the lodge was perfectly welcoming, cozy, and warm, so we settled in, made some coffee and watched the Rogue River ramble by from our balcony. This place is a total must-visit if you are an Oregon local, or worth the drive if you’re not.Find more about the lodge here.
