For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were writtenin your book before one of them came to be. -Psalm 146:13-16
Whenever I think about that passage in light of a new baby, it makes it so, so meaningful. When I met up with this sweet family to document their upcoming little girl, who is already so deeply loved. “If this pregnancy is any indicator of this precious love’s disposition, then I will be one blessed mama. I have been blessed with no anemia, gestational diabetes, or cold/flu bugs. It’s been a dream!”, said proud mama Aubrie. We all met up on a pretty, slightly overcast Oregon day, where hail (welcome to Oregon!) pelted us right at the end. Thankfully, we had snagged some pretty great shots before the hail arrived. We covered a lot of ground hiking around the property. The incredibly beautiful mama-to-be wore bright red rainboots (she’s a true Oregonian, I guess), and that cobalt dress made her look radiant. Her wonderful husband Tyson, and their little man, Easton, trekked all over like total troopers, and they are all three so excited to meet baby girl!
"I still have to pinch myself a little every time I walk into this little girl’s perfectly pink nursery. I actually don't think it will hit me that she's ours until she is finally in our arms. This baby girl is the first girl in the family for MANY years & she will not be short on protection or love! There's a long line of tiny warrior cousins ready to protect her from anything that comes her way”, continued Aubrie, "Now that we are 6 weeks away from meeting this little baby girl, my heart is overcome with so many feelings. I cannot wait to meet this little world-changer we've been praying for long before we knew she existed. I can't wait to see her big brother grow into the protector, comforter, and mighty little leader that God has already begun preparing his heart to be. I can't wait to see my hubby as a daddy to a precious little girl & fall even more in love with him as I watch him fall head-over-heels for this life we've created!"I can’t wait to see their precious daughter, either! Such a blessing to be the one they asked to take these photos. I hope their tiny warrior-girl can look back on these in years to come to see just how very much she’s adored.
