Kevin+Kayla | Engagements | University of Oregon

These two are preparing to say “I do” and pledge forever to one another...but their story goes back just a bit further. They actually met at a baseball game at the University of Oregon, where Kevin escorted Kayla onto the field to sing the national anthem. So, what better place for them to celebrate their engagement than their alma mater? I loved meeting up with both of these sweet people at U of O recently, where we laughed, celebrated, and captured this important season in their lives.“We want to show off our personalities, and we want our session to be romantic and fun”, they shared with me, "We come from opposite ends of the spectrum as far as our growing-up years, when it comes to how you know and express love. We had to recognize and appreciate those differences and work on both of us moving more toward the middle.” Kayla and Kevin enjoy doing just about everything together, including traveling, being with their friends, and enjoying the great outdoors (especially the mountains). One special memory they shared was spending time at Disneyland and California Adventure parks, from opening to close! They speak so highly of each other and Kayla adds, “I admire his drive, he stays so focused and works so hard to achieve all his goals”. Kevin also noted that he fell in love with Kayla’s constant passion for her family and friends, as well as for him! They’ve been together four and a half years, and can’t wait to begin their married life together...I know they’re just getting started on the beautiful commitment they share.
