This beautiful senior wanted photos that represented her, and who she is. Rather than snapping a few quick images, I always love to really get to know my clients, and find out how their session can better reflect their values and dreams. Christen was a total gem, beautiful inside and out, and she is graduating from Phoenix High School. “I am a social and confident person”, she shared, “I enjoy meeting new people, and I want to be remembered for being in a cheerful mood even if I was going through hard time. I’m never afraid to put myself out there.” I loved her go-get-‘em spirit, and her laid-back and comfortable style. She cleverly incorporated lots of texture, like chambray and felt, into her wardrobe, and I found lots of natural light and woodsy goodness that complemented her. In her spare time, Christen enjoys hiking and watching her favorite shows, as well as taking long drives through the beautiful parts of the West Coast. She also snowboards, and has also been actively involved her FFA market lambs for three years. Although she says she is making new friends and loving senior year, she has overcome personal situations during her high school years that she says helped her grow as a person. She explains, "I learned so much about myself during this time of my life. I grew a stronger bond with my mother and my family. I learned that I am such a strong person and that I can overcome anything that gets in my way. I learned that things do get better with time and that one day, something spectacular will be coming my way!” After graduation, she hopes to attend COCC in Bend, because of the many opportunities it will afford her.

Christen, I’m excited to watch you grow stronger and even more mature and well-spoken in college....You are a lovely young lady, inside and out, and I know your future is exceptionally bright! Thanks for allowing me to be your senior photographer!
